A.R22     Vehicle ID receiver

The VY280t is locking magnet for internal doors. It features an internal timer with 3 settings set on a DIP switch, that will keep the magnet un-powered  while the pedestrian walks through. 

This vehicle ID receiver will open a gate or door to vehicles carrying a valid long range radio frequency ID tag.  The receiver can be connected to and powered from all known control panels. The set is supplied with two pre-programmed ID tags.

The receiver controls the gate through two relays, one for opening and another to close. Gates and barriers with auto-close function enabled will only use the OPEN relay output. A blue LED indicates a vehicle ID tag is within the zone. 

Mount the receiver in a plastic waterproof housing at least 1.5m above ground for good RF reception. There is no sensitivity adjustment or any other serviceable parts inside the receiver.

Maglocks have two 12Vdc coils. They are wired in series for 24Vdc supplies, or wired in parallel for 12V supplies. It is important to wire the coils to the same polarity, or one side of the magnet will negate the other side. This lock magnet has jumpers on the timer PCB to make the parallel or serial coil connections.

The 'T' suffix indicates that this lock magnet has a delay ON timer built in. There is a DIP switch for setting 3, or 6, or 9 secs, or no delay.

 There are three terminals for the monitoring sensor, N/O  N/C  and  Com. This sensor detects a completed magnetic circuit, and switches when the armature plate is locked to the magnet. This lock magnet also has a LED indicator that lights red when the door is locked, lights green when the power is applied to the magnet but the door is not closed, or is off when there is no power.
